Celebrate & Advocate:
PRIDE 365
North Dakota LGBTQ+ & Two Spirit
AWARENESS & ADVOCACY CALENDAR
PRIDE is not one month, but a year-round celebration of queer joy and liberation. This calendar is not intended to be exhaustive, but aims to highlight days, weeks, and months observed, celebrated, and honored by the LGBTQ+ community in North Dakota, the United States, and around the globe. In addition, non-LGBTQ+ specific observances are also included due to their intersection with LGBTQ+ people and issues. More information along with interpretive and informative notes can be found at the end of the calendar.
Calendar Dates & Commemorations: Coming Soon.
The * marks notable moments and milestones in LGBTQ+ history not reflected in other observances (when the exact date is unknown, a date has been selected and noted.
The calendar curators hope this will be a resource to advocates and leaders across the state for planning events, incorporating significant observances into existing meetings and events, and to serve as a guide for opportunities for action.
The curating organizations (collectively or individually) provide resources and toolkits for local leaders to maximize the opportunities for celebration, action, and change in North Dakota presented in this calendar.
This calendar will be updated at least annually. For suggestions, additions, or revisions, please contact any of the curating organizations.
